Feeling home sick, I longed for kremas. Growing up in the Turks & Caicos where Christianity was the anchor,
Haitian kremas was the only acceptable alcohol-lace beverage allowed during the holidays.
So now without guilt but with all the traditions and customs of my Haitian mother, I recreate my kremas; a cream base cocktail made with a blend of exotic spices and huge kick of rum.
Our kremas is handmade in small batches and with the best ingredients that are in season.
Kremas is best enjoyed chilled but mostly with family and friends all year round.
